I was commissioned to create a original gift card to be used in the Japanese "omiyage" or souvenir/ hand gift custom. Basically the idea is that everytime when you visit someone new, or something you have not seen for a long time, you must come with a small hand gift as a token of respect and care.
These hand gifts are usually accompanied by a small hand written card expressing well wishes or other celebratory phrases. A professor in Taiwan found my IG and commissioned me to create this little Thank You Card so that she can print it en mass and use them for all the omiyages she'll be sending out in the future.
