Mindscape IV: Emergence of Awareness is part of Stella Chang’s Mindscape series, an abstract figurative body of work exploring the interior landscape of consciousness. Moving away from representational realism, the portrait shifts focus from external likeness to the intangible atmosphere within, capturing a moment where awareness begins to surface and take form. Through layered abstraction and softened facial structure, the work invites reflection on perception, presence, and the evolving nature of the inner self.
